SAHAJ MARG MEDTIATION OPEN HOUSE

Join us at the yogitoes rExperience Lab for an informal introductory meeting. We’ll discuss the Sahaj Marg method of Raja Yoga, the need for a sincere spiritual practice in today’s chaotic world, and how to start the practice. We’ll also take around 15 minutes to do a Universal Prayer meditation for the benefit of humanity, which is an integral part of our spiritual practice. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers.
Sahaj Marg, translated as “Natural Path,” is a spiritual practice based on a heart‐centered meditation. A simplified system of Raja Yoga, the goal of the practice is spiritual – attaining the ultimate goal of human existence, which is oneness with God, or Self. Sahaj Marg offers a means by which we can evolve from our present condition towards a future that realizes our full spiritual potential. Starting the practice, personal instruction and the weekly group meditations are available at no cost.

In our mission to create the highest quality, most sustainable yoga products, we made an interesting discovery. We strive to be fully transparent in all of our practices, and wish to share this with you.
As part of our commitment to have the entire yogitoes yoga line made from recycled materials, to help our planet, we recently launched rNaked Yoga Mat and rMat. They are both made of 100% natural rubber, 25% recycled rubber, free of heavy metals, phthalates and PVC, and, free of dyes in rNaked Mat. Designed for zero waste, the mats are 100% biodegradable.
Therein lays the glitch. For non-heated practice, many yogis and well-known teachers love the grip factor, feel and eco-consciousness of rNaked Mat and rMat. However, the mat is not ideally-suited to all conditions and practitioners. Composting is the biological decomposition of organic matter under controlled conditions, namely heat and moisture, to create nutritious topsoil. Hot yoga simulates these conditions, and causes our yoga mats to break down quickly. If one is looking to create a vibrant garden, our mats may be of help.
We regret that our initial product testing did not reveal this, and have a process in place to issue a full credit for any mats that have broken down. Hindu & Buddhist Deities: The Power of Their Archetypes in Yoga

Using statues to illustrate, Manoj will relate the symbolism of Hindu and Buddhist deities to archetypes within us. Through their myths, we’ll uncover hidden symbolisms and learn the four ways to work with them as part of a non-dualistic spiritual and yogic practice. Discover how working with your archetypes can profoundly shift you, especially during moments of life transitions, and how these ancient teachings have practical relevance to your life, bringing peace of mind and uncovering our underlying common spirit. The evening will culminate in kirtans sung by Jyothi.

yogitoes supports Kurmalliance, a non-profit organization dedicated to saving sea turtles and their ecosystems, founded by Brock Cahill. Says Brock, “This is a great campaign to lift consciousness towards recycling, repurposing and reusing materials and a good portion of proceeds from this project is going directly to saving turtles and saving the ocean.
